JARDÍN de GRACIA (Garden of Grace in Spanish) is a Christian school located in El Socorro, Honduras in Central America. The mission was formed to serve the very poorest of the poor in that area. The heart of their ministry is to teach children about Jesus Christ through education programs.

Jardín de Gracia:
Opened in August, 2002 to serve the poorest of the poor in El Socorro, Honduras. The students are supported with funds from the USA from individuals and churches.
Is governed by two boards - a Honduran board and a US board.
Has 1st— 6th grades with space to add two more grades.
Currently has 122 students, 6 teachers & 3 staff.
Students receive a hot lunch 2 days/wk of Arroz con Pollo (Chicken & Rice) or Spaghetti. The other days they receive PB&J sandwiches.
Students all wear uniforms to school.
Teaches the students English and the Bible along with their regular educational classes.
Follows the US school calendar of Sept thru May. Most Honduran public schools go from Feb thru Oct.
Graduating students either attend a local public school or enter the work force.
Perry Christian Church has sent work teams annually to Jardín de Gracia since 2004.
