This year there will be two electives offered for our adults. There will be women’s class led by Nancy Brunker and a general adult class co-led by Rod Geiger, Craig Ott and Larry Burgett. ESTHER: IT’S TOUGH BEING A WOMAN with Beth Moore
Ladies, join us on Wednesday nights for an in-depth and very personal examination of this great story of threat and deliverance. If you’ve ever felt inadequate, threatened or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther’s day, it’s tough today. Beth peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is to us. This portion of God’s Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried and pressured lives. You won’t want to miss this!
FOUNDATIONS OF APOLOGETICS This will be a year-long class with designed to introduce a comprehensive range of apologetic arguments and strategies. Build around the teaching of Ravi Zacharias and others, this rigorous class will help enable the student to become adept at recognizing the many worldviews influencing our culture and equipped to challenge the assumptions of these worldviews. Our format will include a portion to time each week watching powerful video presentations, then breaking out into discussion groups for Q. & A. and life application.
You are welcome to participate in the class throughout its entirety, or if you are unable, attend the individual classes as you have interest in a particular topic.
