Back-To-School Sunday is a tradition around Perry Christian that gives us a chance to celebrate a great summer and pray for our students/teachers as we prepare for an equally great school year.  Please note that the regular Sunday schedule will not be observed, instead our morning will look as follows:

9:30—WORK PROJECT in Gym

We will be assembling and packaging gift bags for each of the 90+ teachers  at  Pfeiffer  and Edison schools in Perry. The reason we are singling out these teachers is because their partnership with us in the Legacy Project is key to the success of the program.  We want to express our appreciation for their support through this small resource bag to help them in the classroom throughout the year.  When we are done with the project (and if you behaved yourselves) we will be also complement our fellowship with donuts and drinks.

We will have ONE WORSHIP on this Sunday that will of course include Communion Service as well as these other hi-lights—

· Music led by our Elevate Children’s Worship

· Special Interview of individuals who serve within the

· PRAYER TIME for our Students & School Workers

11:30—LUNCH ON US in Parking Lot

We know how to take care of our own.  Please plan to stay for food and fellowship immediately following the service.
